The MSCA Doctoral Network “Educating Europe’s Future Engineers for the Next Generation of Mobile Working Machines: AI driven Sustainability, Productivity, and Safety” (ENGAGE) will open 13 positions for doctoral candidates (DCs). The research topics for each DC are listed below.

DC 2: 3D mapping of a dynamic construction site over extended period of time
DC 3: As-built model updating using sensor data for an automatic documentation of a worksite
DC 4: Sensor based positioning of mobile work machines in dynamic forest environment
DC 5: 3D perception in dynamic environments
DC 7: Force and loss prediction in contact rich tasks for control of hydraulic machines
DC 8: Active and transferable learning for control of hydraulic excavators (position announcement coming soon)
DC 9: Fast adaptation of smooth controllers for heavy working machines by in context-imitation learning and simulation-based pre-training (position announcement coming soon)
DC 10: Safe navigation on a rough and dynamic terrain
DC 12: Simulation intelligence for autonomous mobile working machines
